“It is something that can protect us to a certain degree from infection at this moment. Of course, the delay in vaccination causes a number of consequences in our city as well, and I think that this is a problem that needs to be solved urgently, “Cavic pointed out.

Despite the media allegations about the increased number of patients in the municipality of Pljevlja, the epidemiological situation at this moment does not go beyond the framework it had in the previous days – said the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality, Goran Cavic.

“We do not have such information. For example, the situation with the General Hospital in Pljevlja is such that there are 14 patients in the ward, compared to the previous situation when it used to be 20 to 25 patients, “Cavic told Mediabiro.

The situation is similar when it comes to examinations in COVID clinics, that is, no increase in the number of infected people was observed. However, due to the new methodology of the Institute of Public Health, as Cavic explained, the Municipal Team for Protection and Rescue has no data on the number of cured or deceased.

“I would like to draw the attention of our citizens to the fact that the working hours of catering facilities are until 6 pm, and I would appeal that those working hours be respected. We had situations in several catering facilities, where working hours were exceeded, so the communal police and sanitary services reacted in accordance with their authorizations “, stated the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service.

He appealed to the citizens of Pljevlja to respect the measures that are currently in force, noting that the basic precautions have not changed – wearing a mask, keeping a distance and washing hands.

“It is something that can protect us to a certain degree from infection at this moment. Of course, the delay in vaccination causes a number of consequences in our city as well, and I think that this is a problem that needs to be solved urgently, “Cavic pointed out.

He called on his fellow citizens to take special care to respect the ban on going out after 9 pm, and the ban on leaving the municipality on weekends.

“I also ask that their travels in that period be reduced to a really extremely necessary measure. We had some requests that were really unjustified, such as trips to parties, weddings, birthdays, “Cavic said.
